It've been a long time since I wrote on this blog. A lot of changes happened in my life lately, and I have to redefine this blog too. I'll think about this in the next days. Luckily I still remember my login ID and password, so maybe I'll pass by here soon.
I studied computer science, so now I apply it everywhere, even to this blog.

Meanwhile I got a GMail account, so I can proudly say: Mission accomplished! :)))
This happened through a former colleague who is now working for Google, so Blogger was no use for this.
I'm still thinking what exactly I want to write in this blog, and I just got a great idea: I'll start by writing some questions; cause putting the right question is more than halfway to the answer. So:

I saw a broadband push in the last couple of days both in Europe and the US. I use an ADSL connection myself, and I like it a lot, but I just wonder how much politics is involved. I mean, people are really using their broadband connections to their full potential. Are more public services available over the internet? Are there any studies done about how people use the internet? Why politicians need to push a technology?

So, I studied algorithms, design principles, and the like. We are processing more and more information, we are heading fast forward into the information society, but what's the limit of this? Are we gonna apply an algorithm to everything? Well, there's a big wall ahead, and many of the fields in computer science are stucked there: semantics. People are trying to get around, but no big succes so far. To be continued ...
